To get things started, I’d like to talk about the new web filter, which is in its testing phases.

Honestly speaking, I think this whole thing is a waste of money and time mostly because it’s going to fail horribly because people are going to find ways around it (proxies, VPN, Tor, encryption, etc.) and most people, except for stupid parents who can’t look after their kids or people who are offended by everything, would not want it.

I also think that Senator Conroy (the guy in charge of this filter) would look like a total idiot when the whole thing falls apart on launch day. I almost feel sorry for him. ALMOST.
